My iphoto 8.1.2 doesn't update to Mavericks edition... ($14.99??)

Doesn't appear the updates @ App Store, It says that I have to pay 14.99...


same thing with my imovie ! Help :\

iPhoto 8.1.2 is marginally compatible with Mavericks. Usesr report problems with exporting slideshows, exporting photos outside of iPhoto just to name a couple. Be sure to turn off all photo sharing in iPhoto's Sharing preference pane and set the Web pane like this:

Otherwise you may frequently get the SWOD (spinning wheel of death) upon launch or at other times.

I get a prompt telling me to "check with the developer".

That is only part of the error message. Usually it is accompanied by a crash log.

But anyway, there are so many issues with running iPhoto 8.1.2 on Mavericks - you simply cannot use it reliably. Upgrade to iPhoto 9.5.1, if you do not want to risk data loss by frequent iPhoto crashes.
