OK, have two questions

RECOVERY PARTITION- I recently discovered by option-booting that after upgrading to Mountain Lion, I actually have two Recovery Partitions- one labeled 'OSX Recovery Partition' IIRC and the other 'OSX 10.8.4 Recovery Partition'. Anyone want to venture a guess as to why this is or what to do about it? While almost everything (more later) seems to be running OK I don't want to upgrade to 10.9 until I figure out what is going on, as I figure that at the very least this is wasting HD space. If I end up with three of 'em, that can't be good.

SAFARI BROKEN: Other thing is that I downloaded and installed the Safari 6.1 update last night, which broke Safari completely; it simply beachballs immediately on launch. Anybody else having issues? Can I revert to the previous version?
