I am using a 13" Macbook Pro with the latest updates. I bought a Canon Imageclass MF4770n. It doesn't matter how many times I install the drives and software it will never connect, the only way it will do it is by USB. Is anyone experiencing the same trouble? What can I do to fix this problem?

I had the same problem. I downloaded the canon 10.4 driver. I went ahead and created a fixed ip address for the printer for the operator panel/ I am using 192.168.1.116 but you can pick your own. I then added the printer using the ip address with the Mac. It finds the printer and lets you see the toner levels. However it still would not print. Then I went back into the printer setting s and changed it from IPP print protocol to Print Daemon protocol and now it prints fine. Hope this helps. I am not sure you have to set the ip address but I did.
