Mar 25, 2014 11:15 AM in response to Madashelluphereby allenbundy1,Even if they did update Mavericks to allow colored labels again, there is stil the problem with the new Safari and Quicktime player that don't work as well as before. I had only used Mavericks for about 48 hours before I found more problems than I was willing to deal with. Who knows how many other issues I would ahve found if I used it longer?
So I reverted to the OS 10.6.8 that came with the comptuer. I would have revereted to OS 9 if I could have.
I may cautiously try OS 10.7 and 10.8, but I'll have to scrounge up the disks first. I think I'll also get a spare hard drive to load them onto so I can just reinstall my old hard drive if I don't like them.

There no discs, both 10.7 and 10.8 are downloads.

That has nothing to do with this thread. Open a new thread and moan about your other issues there.

No. Downloads. Not whatever. Just downloads. If you are going to post in a tech forum, at least supply the simple, correct facts.
Thanks

None that I am aware of. But I would be happy to have someone post the method if there is one.

Mar 25, 2014 1:53 PM in response to petermac87by HappyTexas,I would love any RELEVANT feedback I can get. Thank you. This crazy new auto-complete has made tagging my saved files absolutely useless and, back in the good ol' days before the Mavericks Monster came to town, tagging was flawless and highly functional. I want MY tags back. sigh. . . . !
