Q: I hate the new tags in Mavericks, need coloured folders!!

This is a thread for those who hate Tags in Mavericks, of course there is a majority of people who hate Tags. What else would you expect?

Not happy with 10.9.2. My first issue is with my many colored folders which are no longer colored, I find my machine is slower and have had weekly crashes since i 'upgraded', totally disgusted with apple and I'm a user from day one. But as long as their stock price continues to rise, they will do whatever they want, regardless of scores of unhappy users. And, I wouldn't count on them showing any humility, ever.

Thanks for the sarcastic response, really helped. You ask what would I expect? I would expect Apple to listen to the feedback on this tread for a start, then maybe consider reintroducing labels at the earliest opportunity. Keep the **** tags option if feedback from some other thread is so supportive of them, I really dont know or care. Keep both functions would seem like a common sense approach though. But what do I know, I don't have over 33,000 points.

Call Apple and ask for a refund of your purchase price of OS X 10.9.x

Then: OS X Mavericks: Revert to a previous OS X version

easy peasy...

Apple don't listen to feedback from this thread, they have a customer feedback system for that, why don't you use it, it may help you to get what you want.

Colored folders have been removed from OSX and replaced by Tags.

You can check out the 3rd party alternatives and if you want to let Apple know how you feel about that you can tell them by sending feedback.

Actually I did use that "customer feedback" a few minutes earlier, but I must admit I genuinly did'nt realize that Apple don't listen to feedback on these threads.... hmmm I bet they do though, just not officially, after all it is a valid reference source of customer mood and reaction, information that most companies would find usefull.  But anyway I take you point, thanks. I apparently just wasted ten minutes of my life on this discussion, time I could have spent figuring out some practical use for tags....

I want the tags as they are now: much better. Don't make Apple change it, or I have to start making feedback.

My point was, Mavericks was free (see the ), and since you don't like it, just revert to the previous OS

It was pointed out to me that this is a thread for people who don't like tags, so apparently you are posting in the wrong place. I'm sure theres another thread somewhere where you and the other five people that agree with you can share your views.

I have nothing against this thread: there are always a few people that don't want any change, I warned that I would make feedback (and with me the thousands who are satosfied with the changes) if they make coloured folders (Hail Tony).
