Q: I hate the new tags in Mavericks, need coloured folders!!

Oh dear, I got it wrong again, and just when I thought I'd finally figured it out. Anyway guys, believe it or not Tags coloured folders, real housewives of Miami.... whatever. I think we achieved a lot here don't you, I'm sure that Apple unlike me are completely on the ball in terms of the the EXACT nature, and correct content applicable to each... And they will see the errors of their ways and heed my recommedations of keeping both functionalities. They and you will thank me for it im sure :-)

Now that Apple has announced Yosemite we should all send requests for Yosemite to provide Labels. I think it unlikely there will be further development of Mavericks.

Did you already find a way to do three tags to a folder with the coloured folders?

as for Yosemite: not in there.

Just to put my two cents... I'm partially color blind (deuteranopia) and in older MacOS I could still use color highlighting to help me in my work. Now, the small circles are almost indistinguishable and I had to leave them with huge dissapointment.

I wonder why designers and engineers so often neglect handicapped people. Regarding to color blindness, we are more then 8% of male population afflicted out there... That's a number, isn't it?

Try using CouloredFolders-it changes the grey logos on the Finder sidebar to colored ones.
