Q: I hate the new tags in Mavericks, need coloured folders!!

Is there a way to return the colour folders when using the new tags like the old behavior of labels? These new circle thingees are too small and barely noticable.

I'm think everybody will be thankful if I stop answering your posts - even though I'm not sure many people are reading this tired old thread which, let us not forget, was about tags versus labels.

So I hope you don't mind but it's over and out from here.

Is that a moderator I hear sighing a small sigh of relief?

I Thought the topic read Coloured Folders. But then again you appear to just change anything to suit your delusions. If you are going to quote, then quote and don't make things up. It's called lying.

    Bye

I will be grateful when you begin to incorporate the truth into them. But ending them may actually be better.

I fully expected this whole thread to be closed after reading the last few pages. In any case, maybe a new thread hoping they put this feature back in to Yosemite would be more appropriate at this stage.

It would be if people didn't keep reviving it.

According to all indications to date, it will not be restored in Yosemite. Can't this thread die in peace?

Sure, and once Yosemite is released, a "I hate the new tags in Yosemite, need coloured folders!!" thread can be created

I would love it, if just once when somebody posts a query on a forum, people who do NOT have the answer would just keep their mouth shut so that when somebody actually has something relevant to say, it doesn't get buried in all the meaningless drivel.  I mean, who cares if you agree and has the same problem, or psost some other meaningless c**p.  Over 1500 replies, and not one relevant response.

No you don't, the correct answer has been posted long ago but you don't like it. So you complain in hope of getting a different answer to the same question.

For anyone still looking of the solution to restoring LABELS in Mavericks, it turns out to be incredibly simply:  Get XTRAFINDER.  It allows you to modify Finder in many ways, including restoring Labels.  I have only just downloaded it, but it appears to work well.

Did it really tale over 1500 replies and 102 pages to come up with this?  I found the solution on another forum.  If anyone had mentioned in this thread, I missed it because most replies had nothing to do with solving the issue (such as Csound1 reply).

In response to Csound1, I dont even know what point you are trying to make, but it seems to be just another example of wasted dribble that offered nothing useful to solving the problem.  You should find better ways to entertain yourself.

Also, to those who think this is not important and would like the thread to die, there are many people who find the high visability of labels (vs tags) to be quite important.  If you don't, that's fine, but you respect those who are seeking solutions through forums like this, by staying on topic, and keep your pithy quips, retorts, and clever flames to yourself.
