Dec 12, 2013 7:47 PM in response to dielenatorby petermac87,What a ridiculous comparison. So there are only two types of workflow between the many many millions of Mavicks users? You have asked them have you?

Dec 12, 2013 8:27 PM in response to dielenatorby petermac87,No, I used to use labels, now I use Tags. Apparently some just can't grasp the concept.

Dec 12, 2013 8:32 PM in response to petermac87by dielenator,Graps the concept, yes. Like them, no. Maybe we're both guilty of generalizing? Maybe others do grasp the concept but don't like them. While I'm at it, there's other things about Mavs that I don't like either ...

As I could have guessed. Start your own thread about your other Mavericks issues, or it will be treadjacking this user's thread topic.
Good Luck

There are two kinds of mechanics: shadow board and memory. Shadow board mechanics put up hooked boards on their garage walls with outlines of the tools where they are supposed to go. And they keep an orderly system. Memory mechanics lay their tools whereever they last used them, creating a chaotic mess, but somehow, they are able to rummage about and find the tool when they need it (although some argue they spend more time looking for tools than actually getting work done).
I have all my tools organized, but I don't need to color (label) my sockets to find the 9/16th

Dec 13, 2013 9:21 PM in response to Madashelluphereby applesodumb,I do not hate the TAGs function. But I need the color folder function.

Dec 13, 2013 9:31 PM in response to applesodumbby petermac87,What coloured folders? I have never seen them. Do you mean coloured labels by chance? Big difference. There is plenty of junk ware around that will give you coloured folders
If you google it.

Just the Folder, or color-coded files?

Dec 15, 2013 6:27 AM in response to Madashelluphereby guguii,a possibility will be a full name color as before, with the extra labels as dots at the end like now.
that would be a perfect solution for everyone (I hthink...)
then, the first label you choose is the one is going to fullfill the name

Dec 15, 2013 6:01 PM in response to Madashelluphereby kochisa,I agree bring back the labels , i just complained to the link below... I urge everyone to do so!

Dec 16, 2013 8:32 PM in response to Madashelluphereby Cheddar30,One more vote for a RETURN of colored labels. They could still live in harmony with tags. Two VERY different things, and no reason we can't all have the best of both worlds, but getting rid of a system that has been around (and extremely useful) for AGES...Please, bring it back, and give users the option! This is *nothing* like the advancements of ditching the floppy drive or CD drive, so please give me my colors back!!

Dec 17, 2013 12:57 AM in response to Cheddar30by petermac87,10.9.1 just released. Did they solve your issues?

Dec 17, 2013 1:55 AM in response to petermac87by Silly Old Codger,NO. Issue not solved.
Have just updated to 10.9.1 with great expectations.
I have been a Mac user for over 30 years - good times & bad - But this is the first time I have felt so badly let down.
Apple "Think Different"? Yes, perhaps think about the wishes of us loyal users.
ps. No doubt petermac87 will instantly make a comment on my post and if it is in his usual vane I will choose to ignore it and not take the bait.

Dec 17, 2013 2:34 AM in response to Silly Old Codgerby peterleary,Yeah what a shame :/
Well point 1 is pretty early days really, there's still a chance they'll bring labels back.
I know heaps of people who use them all of the time and love them!
Just keep sendin' in the feedback I guess :/
