Feb 21, 2014 12:53 PM in response to Pangaea88by petermac87,You don't think that personal experiences and opinions being expressed to Apple are enough that you have to type up a letter for everyone to use? You don't see that people ignore being bombarded with the identical message? Isn't that a bit like spamming? Isn't everybody that sends them YOUR letter just mirroring YOUR experience exactly? Doesn't appear to be much of a way to approach a Feedback line convincingly, but whatever gives you a thrill I suppose.
Good luck with that

Feb 21, 2014 3:46 PM in response to petermac87by PeterBreis0807,Besides remarkable slowdowns in even simple things like dragging something to the desktop, I regularly get inexplicable massive memory leaks that go unidentified in the Activity Monitor.
I have 12 Gb of RAM btw.

Feb 21, 2014 6:32 PM in response to petermac87by PeterBreis0807,On the contrary.
I end up working it out after a lot of wasted exasperation with the even more clueless Apple employees.
I seem to know way more about what is going on than they do.
All they do is muddy the waters by dismissing or denying everything they don't know.
Which is a LOT!
Not to say that I have never got anything useful from them, but what are the chances?

You may care to share your expertise in solving these issues so as to be of benifit to others here, then. How you solved the memory leak, and how you fixed yje slowdowns, and more relevant to the thread, what all this has to do with returning coloured labels to Mavericks?

Feb 21, 2014 6:48 PM in response to petermac87by PeterBreis0807,I do a massive amount of support in other forums.
In the case of the memory leaks I shall track them down, but they are simply bugs in the first releases of Mavericks and Safari. Not something I can fix.
My post was in response to your question:
All what issues?
Pete
When another poster sited problems with Mavericks generally.

Yeah, that should do it. Oh wait, do Apple even come here?

Surprisingly yes. But then I wouldn't rely on them doing so.
They cherry pick whatever they want to respond to. Sometimes for the most bizarre reasons, that I can determine.
