Log & Transfer Sony AVCHD to ProRes 422 (HQ)

I want to create ProRes 422 (HQ) files, but the Log & Transfer is making ProRes 422. How do I change this? Thanks.

If that is what you want to do, open the Log and Transfer WIndow by going to the menu File > Log and Transfer.

At the top middle of the Log and Transfer window you will see a gear, click on it and from the drop down menu choose preferences:

User uploaded file

Scroll to AVCHD Plugin, and change the Target Format for AVCHD to ProResHQ.

User uploaded file

and click OK.

Note that since you are starting with AVCHD material, all this will do is increase the size of the resultant files and use more disk space than ProRes 422.
