USB Wired Mouse Jitter and Error 0xe00002c0 (no such device)

I purchased a wired Razer mouse a while back to use for gaming and such on my old 2009 27" iMac. And after using it for a while I noticed that the mouse would become very jittery upon waking from sleep mode. It didn't make a lot of sense to me at the time but the problem seemed to go away once I unplugged and replugged the mouse into the USB port. I let this go one because I knew I was going to purchase my new iMac Late 2013 and the problem would go away then for sure.

Fast forward to today I have setup my iMac fresh (without restoring from backup) and attempted to use the mouse again but I have the same problem. Very jittery and unuseable after wake from sleep.

I went into the system logs to see if I could see a pattern of errors and I found this:

Oct 23 19:33:36 Daniels-iMac kernel[0]: USBF:4489.138IOUSBHIDDriver(IOUSBHIDDriver)::RearmInterruptRead returning error 0xe00002c0 (no such device), not issuing any reads to device

Over and over again. These errors timed perfectly with my mouse issues so I assume they are related. If anyone can tell me what's going on here that would be amazing!

Oh and it's important to note that the wireless trackpad that I purchased with the iMac works flawlessly the entire time.

Few notes:

- iMac Late 2013 i7 8 gig ram

- OSX 10.8.5

- Razer Taipan Mouse

Thanks!

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)
