This has also been reported in Juniper's forums. http://forums.juniper.net/t5/SSL-VPN/Network-Connect-Issue-with-OS-X-Mavericks-S afari-7-0-and-Java-7/m-p/213427

I was able to get the client to install if I used firefox 24, but it didn't matter. After about 5 minutes the VPN connection dropped and I couldn't get internet access again untill I restarted wifi.

I'm not sure how good this for a long term solution, but disabling unicast ARP as is recomended in this cirtrix post fixed the stability issue for me. Also, as I mentioned before, I have to use Firefox to get the Juniper client to install at all. I've tested this on 2 Macbooks and 1 Macpro so far and they've all worked.

If you did an upgrade one option is to run the Network Connect application from Finder (or Spotlight) instead of from Safari. Network Connect will prompt to update the software to a compatible version, and once the update finishes you will be able to run the Network Connect application again and connect to the VPN server.

Even after the update connecting from Safari doesn’t work, but running Network Connect does.

A minor inconvenience, but it has been stable for me.

Same issue here, and none of the workarounds work.

I didn't even conscioussly upgrade anything.. it's entirely possible safari upgraded itself 😟

when i launch network connect manually, it just hangs on "Loading Components, please wait this may take several minutes. Host Checker"

versions:

osx: 10.7.5

safari:

6.1.2

although i did see "your computers security is unsatisfactory" error at some point, so exploring that now
