Mavericks - Powerpoint Problem

I've just updated my Back Book Pro - Late 2011 - to the new Mavericks OS 10.9. My Microsoft Powerpoint for Mac 2011 Version 14.3.8 (130913) now shows all text on all my existing PPT files as seemingly random rubbish. On saving out to a PC the file still shows correctly. Any ideas?

I've resolved de problem!!!!

The point is: there are some freak incompatibility in font book, with Arial font.

Follow my steps:

1) Upgrade the microsoft office to 14.3.8 version

2) In spotlight ask for font book

3) find (in all fonts) Arial font, right click and "Remove Arial Family". Don't worry, just do not restart your computer

4) Take a new Arial font pack (here) or go to your trash an move to the desktop the font that you just removed (I know it can be a little weird, but, indeed, you just have to reinstall your font).

5) re install your font (double click)

6) In font book, select all fonts. Drag and drop the Arial family to Windows Office Compatible.

It works perfectly!
