I am now using Mavericks. However, whenever I save a bookmark in Safari, it does not appear in Safari (the bar above the page). I have reinstalled OS X but it's not helpful. How can I solve this?

Whenever I add a new bookmark into Safari, it disappear the next time I launch it.
