iOS 7.0.3 drains battery quickly

I updated my wife's 4s and my 5s last night. My wife's was at 43% when I did it and mine was plugged in at 100%. I did not configure the keychain on the 4s but I did on the 5s. Low and behold, the 4s was at 41% this morning and my 5s was at 38%. Maybe this is causing the problem. I have since turned the keychain off on the 5s. I will post my results in 24 hours.

so turn keychain off?

Yes that is what I have done. I do not know if this will fix it but it is not turned on on the 4s and the power was not drained

Battery draining overnight after updating to iOS 7.03

This is under normal settings where the battery did not drain before while running 7.02.

Very discouraging.

OK 24 hours are now up. Here is whats gone on:

Phone fully charged, Airplane mode on (Because of work regs). Key chain off. After 6 hours, the battery has 100% charge remaining.

Airplane mode off, Key chain off. 6 txts sent/recieved. 2 x 3 min voice calls made, the battery has 98% charge remaining.(2 hour period)

Key chain on, 6 calls, 12 txts, email checked (4 accounts) used sky news app, bbc app, linkedin app, weather app. Closed all apps down and left it overnight. The battery has 85% remaing as I am writing this.

The majority of my location services are turn off, same with icloud backups. Bluetooth is off. Wifi is on.

I am going to carry on running tests and I will post my results during the coming week.

Both my husband and I recently updated our iphone 5s with iOS 7.0.3 and have notice the battery life has suffered immensely. Our keychains were never turned on. I have tried turning off the Background App Refresh in the General settings. But I am not sure that it is working. Does anyone else have any other ideas?

i tried all the tips and as well as the tips in the web, still no progress, i usually charge 2-3 days but since i updated my 4s to ios 7.0.3, i have to charge it twice per day, and i notice that senario the day after i updated,, do you have any other suggestions??

Go to settings>icloud>storage and back up>back up

after that preform a restore by going to

general>reset>erase all content and settings

this will delete everything except the enabled stuff on icloud.

You can view whats enabled by going to icloud in settings.
