no PF ALTQ support in OSX Mavericks ?!?

I've just upgraded to 10.9 and I found out there's no pf ALTQ support:

$ uname -a

Darwin mymac.local 13.0.0 Darwin Kernel Version 13.0.0: Thu Sep 19 22:22:27 PDT 2013; root:xnu-2422.1.72~6/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64

$ sudo pfctl -s info

No ALTQ support in kernel

ALTQ related functions disabled

[..]

So in which kernel version will we have ALTQ implemented ?

Is there an alternate way to do QoS on OSX ?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

Good question, I still waiting for this as well. At the moment we can use the dummynet extension for a basic traffic shaping... However for me it would be important that the bugs in PF should be fixed. In Mavericks I found today a new additional bug related to connections wich are staying on a local interface (src and dst are the same) and there is not state created in the state table... Strange because that leads to the situation that all answer packages are dropped...

Hi,
I can chime in only with a question of mine, no answer, but I ran into errors with IP forwarding too. Do we really need to buy Server.app for this basic functionality on an OS?

I have write-ups of my own problem elsewhere, and I am grateful for any help, esp. if you're any wiser now. Thanks!
