Why with Maverick can I NOT send an email to Multiple contacts?

since the upgrade I can no longer type the name of a group and send it to the whole group, i'm having to add people one by one.

Works for me. Hit enter after each email address is entered to add the next recipient.

does not work for a group with 20 names in the group, must enter not the name but also go into thier actual email and click that email and enter. good luck doing this to 20- groups with 20 names in each group. there has to be another way or i will be going another way with a different mail application.

I was having the same frustrating issue, but it seems to have resolved itself and is now working fine. Hopefully it will keep working.

Open Contacts app.

Right click on a Group and you are presented with two options. Email group or Export group.

Yes, I can do that but it is very cumbersome. When I have a Pages document that I wanted to send to a group I could send a create a PDF and mail it. Now I have to export the document to Word, save it, then go to contacts, control click on the group, choose the attached document. If you want to update the document, it's a whole new process. Isn't there another way?????

I have been having problems with addressing group emails I think only since Maverick. I have been unable to drag the group or copy the addresses into the "To" or "cc".

However if I have 2 groups (Say "Family Close" and "Family Others" if one TYPES Family in the "To" space the alternative are shown and when one clicks on one of these the "Bolded" group is shown and can be expanded etc
