No mail in my Exchange account after update

After updating, I've got my two mail accounts, but the Exchange one only has the last email received in it; none of the rest (which are still on the server). I can't see a setting to change to get the mail displayed. I've currently got it set using the Autodiscover mode, but turning that off didn't seem to make a difference.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

Rebuilt the mailbox, and it all came back!
