You were asked several times, but never answered, what exactly were you installing from?
There are several ways to install iWork, we are just determining whether what you installed from was a full original installer, if so from where, and what would be needed to ensure that it works correctly.
Why you are being evasive when it is you who wants to fix this, mystifies me.

Jan 18, 2014 1:33 AM in response to PeterBreis0807by Jo!,Hi Peter,
Again a new name.
answer is in the post on Jan 15, 2014 12:23 PM
I do not mind anyone hooking on this thread to try to solve the problem. It would be appreciated if the thread is read. I cannot figure out why some people persist in this attitude on these forums, entering threads and burning, without them introducing themselves. I have noticed this before and strikes me as odd (to say the least.
Re-read and don't take personal. But stop treating someone in this way, simply because you did not read.
there is no evasion at all, I try to stay with the subject. It is just that i do not like to repeat things. Also the level of 'help' does not surpass my understanding of how a mac operating system works, … so far.
The problem is pretty specific as it turns out. I do know how to troubleshoot my macs. Only thing is, with a new operating system there are things that are new, new bugs, new incompatibilities etc. This is one of them I guess, whilst Apple says it should work.
that there is something funny going on is evident, because on my other mac it does work. Only thing different there is that I kept my ML and installed a seperate partition of Mavrics, just to test. This I also have mentioned in a previous post.
It is an original install dmg (I only use original insall-software). It has always worked sofar when I needed it. The upgrades also were from Apple directly (I can't exactly remember when, I do not keep those).
So I hope this helps?

Jan 18, 2014 2:32 AM in response to Jo!by fruhulda,Jo! You still haven't answered the question about where you initialy got the install dmg from. There are several sources and it might help if you could answered instead of complaining about how people are. And yes I did find you rude when answering me. I am trying hard to oversee it. And yes I have reread all the posts before answering!

I get the impression that the real problem is that you approach fixing the problem the same way you approach this forum.
A lot of dummy spitting and not much thought.
We are all fellow users who do this support voluntarily, despite some posters fighting tooth and nail to make that impossible. And in your case hijacking someone else's thread and then mostly attacking anyone who responds.
Now to the issue in hand. It is extremely rare to not be able to fix these issues by simple cleaning out all your present installation and starting from scratch, unless you have made a right ****-up of the process and/or your installation software is damaged.
Clean out your existing files:

This is to particularly address the SF Compatibility Error

Reinstall using the original iWork '09 .dmg
…and update to the latest version:

If the problem persists, it may be faulty fonts or you have something else installed, or you have done something else, that you are not telling us about
Peter
btw My name is plastered all over this forum so I am no bolt out of the blue.

It is a copy of the original disk. A always made copies having once experienced a damaged disk after several times using it.
The dmg and the disk both work fine on my other mac.
Thanks so far.
But, the issue may rest for now. I am currently wiping the macbook. It is maybe not solving the problem by finding the cause, but it will definately erase any fault that might have slipped in.
@all
Also, in reading back the thread here, … I am really amazed, but not surprised at what some people think they can allow themselves in attitude, the assumption as to think there is only one way of going on.
there are ± 7.000.000.000 people in the world and millions of local 'tribes', where ways of going on heve their own nature.
Basic curtesy starts with no assumption.
Long toes are unavoidable, and that is what makes it interesting.
Some of you experience some of my response rude. In return I find these persons extremely rude by familiarity. To me, it is of no consequence (at first) who is and who isn't, but more important is what is the cause of it. We obviously come from different places, but difference should never be cause for conflict, but always cause for enrichment, … as long as basic attitude is decent.
But rest assured, I will not 'bother' you again in this thread
Like Peter said, keep plastering your name if you want. It however does not cause me to be impressed.

Jan 19, 2014 7:20 AM in response to PeterBreis0807by Jo!,short update:
I am currently in the process of reinstalling. A tedious job, even for a computer with hardly any extra's.
All seems to work fine sofar (only ML yet).
The tip from Peter to download de iworks software from the appstore worked fine.
This time round I do not want to take chances in the process.
I hope I have time today to install Mavrics on the other partition. I all works well, I might decide to upgrade the ML partition.
