Concerned about PDA and Mac

The PDA world is rapidly changing. Palm has been the best choice for the Mac but RIM's Blackberry seems to be the direction for the future. I'm worried Apple doesn't have a good strategy for Mac integration with new generation mobile handhelds. If Palm were to go under, we in the MacWorld would have lots to worry about. Does anyone else have any thoughts on this or know of any good strategies for the future of the Mac and PDAs/Smartphones/Mobile devices.

Even Palm is not supporting Macs very well on their newest models.

But, as Kappy said, Missing Sync can handle all kinds of devices and from what I've heard work better for Palm's than Palm software.

Some phones can be synced with iSync but you'll need to look through Apple's Knowledge Base for which ones are supported.

I too find the current state of PDAs as related to Macs abysmal. 2 things I really want Apple to make are a PDA and a full size notepad. A PDA styled after an iPod would be great.
