There was an error opening the database for the library “/Users/Jessmess/Pictures/Aperture Library.aplibrary”. This keeps popping up when I try to open my aperture program and now I think I've lost 3 months worth of photos. Any ideas?

Run the library first aid, repair library.
Hold the option and command keys down while you start Aperture, once Aperture is launched you will see a Repair pane. Select Repair library.
Would you confrim that your OS and Aperture version? I suggest opening a new library (by holding down the Option key on launch of Aperture) and see if that can be done. If so, then try and switch to the original library.
