iTunes Podcasts STILL broken with 11.1.2.31

Hoping yet another update would finally fix this ridiculous issue, but clearly the developers at Apple are incapable of fixing their product. Podcasts have been a total disaster since the 11.1 update. After 11.1.1, still a problem, now yesterday I update to 11.1.2 and guess what, STILL BROKEN! Working within podcasts iTunes frequently freezes and crashes the program and podcasts are being randomly deleted and redownloaded on every new program launch.

Please address this issue ASAP because it is outragesouly annoying. This is happening on both Windows XP and Windows 7 64-bit
