Nov 5, 2013 11:15 AM in response to Block Rockerby James Williams2,I tried to follow the Subler directioins and the app said it was done, but the file didn't change and still won't play the .mov file without 'converting' it. Is subler supposed to format the file so that it opens quickly in QT as it did before? I never saw the sheet of paper with the tracks listed on it, so I likely didn't do it correctly.
Could you give me yet another point in the right direction?
Much appreciated,
C

Jan 10, 2014 10:45 AM in response to guhhnazpby jlhopes22,The MP4 files I have that do not work in QuickTime X or QuickLook were generated by my Samsung smartphone. I opened one in Subler, and there are no hinted tracks -- there is only an H.264 Video track and an AAC audio track. So WHY doesn't QuickTime play it?
