Mavericks 10.9 or 10.8.6?

Free but is it worth to migrate to MAvericks ? Is it really a NEW OS version or un updated 10.8?

No IOS7 look & feel.

Using GMAIL with mail 7 you get many problems.

Wait until 10.9.1 or later!

Mac OS X (10.7.1)

Its got amazing performance, its far well worth it yes, free or not.

Most all are reporting amazing improvement

My macbook AIr is fast as lightning now.

Boot times went from 22 seconds to 8 SECONDS

Photoshop pro opens lightning fast.

Battery life on the new Air is now mind blowing.

OS X 10.9 Mavericks is Darwin 13,

10.8.5 is Darwin 12.5, so yes it's basially new upgrade, not a update.

It was just released, so if you want to sit safely on the fence while the early adopters and bugs get worked out there is nothing wrong with that.

Else you might have a lot of work restoring your previous OS X version.

I am using 10.8.5 and see now improvemts on booting speed or apps. Yes in battery life but just 20 more minutes. Both are MAcBook Air 13"
