how do I pair a wireless keyboard with my ipad mini?

Trying to use my ipad with a wireless Apple kdyboard but can't get it to pair. What am I doing wrong?

Not a lot of detail to work with, but it should be easy. Make sure the keyboard has fresh batteries and is not linked to another device (like your Mac).

It may seem obvious, but be sure your wireless keyboard is not already connected to another device. I had the same problem and could not get it to pair with my ipad until I double checked my iphone and discovered I had unknowingly left bluetooth turned on and it was already paired with the keyboard. After turning off bluetooth on my iphone, my ipad was able to connect.
