Wireless stops passing traffic

I'm having wireless networking problems with my 27-inch, Mid 2011 running 10.8 (Mountain Lion). Everything was working perfectly until last week, shortly after I issued this command: /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Apple80211.framework/Resources/airport -A'LAGnet' BSSID='f8:1e:df:fd:34:9e' password='password' I'm not sure if this command caused the problem, or it was just a coincidence that the problem started after I ran it.

The wireless stays connected, but stops passing traffic. This happens randomly, and sometimes so often it's hard to even use the computer.

You can see a demonstration of the problem here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foemRKWGmT4

This problem JUST started happening last week. No new software was installed, and everything had been working fine before.

I opened a trouble ticket with Apple. They came back and said the problem was being caused by 3rd party software, and gave me a list of apps that they thought may be causing it. I removed all of the possible apps and still had the problem.

So I zapped the PRAM and WIPED the hard drive, and installed 10.9 (Mavericks), where I still had the same problem after a clean install, without migrating any of my old profile.

Here are statistics while it is NOT working:

My gut tells me this is a NVRAM/firmware issue. But I suppose it could also be a hardware failure issue...

Has anyone run into this problem before or have any idea how to solve it?

I just got this response from Apple support:

"Thank you for contacting Apple.

I just received a response back from Engineering and they are suggesting to have the unit looked at the Apple Retail Store to have diagnostics run on the unit as they are thinking of some type of hardware issue. Thanks"

So I made an appointment to take it in...
