You're welcome. We all miss something at some point. :)
Hi guys for me it is not working.
Either on a iPad MIni (WiFi only) or a Retina iPad (3G-WiFi).
I've followed the steps (Settings>Safari>Passwords and Autofill>Saved Passwords>Tap the log in that you want to delete and then Tap the Edit button), but when a get back the password is there again.
Any idea?
Reset after the settings change: hold down the home button along with the power button until you see the Apple, then let go.
This certainly is a security defect introduced after iCloud sync was introduced!!!!
i Have tried all of the following:
1. Removal of iCloud account from iPad. This process pro, puts for deleting synced keychain password and I did that
2. Removed device passcode and forced passowd wipe while doing that
3. Removed password manually from auto fill and password page
4. Reset the device by holding home and power key
but nothing works !!!!
the passwords keep reappearing. The biggest threat is that all are visible in plain text to anyone who can access my iPad.
Apple seems to be stubborn and in mess.
This worked. Thanks a lot..
WEnt to Settings.... Safari.... Auto fill.... Then swiped it to cancel.
THanks a lot.
Go to safari. Passwords. Find the one to delete. Edit. Delete.
Go to Apple ID. Keychain. Turn it off. delete from iPad. Turn back on.
worked for me.
