iPhone 5 iOS 7.0.3 main camera and flashlight won't work

Hi so I have an iPhone 5c with iOS 7.0.3. Recently my main camera and flashlight haven't been working.

When I go to open my main camera, the screen just stays black like the shutters are permanently shut. My front camera works fine- there's no problem there.

Secondly, flashlight won't work. When I pull up the menu from the bottom of the screen, the flashlight icon is just blacked out so it's not even an option.

I was wondering if someone could help because I've tried resetting my phone, restarting it and locking and unlocking my phone. Please let me know if you can help. thanks
