Converting dts file into an mkv video file in ac3

Hi can anyone give me an advice please? I have a MKV video files, since audio is dts, I don t get any sound on my smart tv, so I want to convert it in ac3, There is anyway to do it with compressor?

macbook pro, Mac OS X (10.5.8), hard drive 7200 rpm and 8gb ddr ram
