Problems with Safari on OS X Maverick

Every time I'm done using safari, I right click the safari icon in the dashboard and click quit and that causes my mac to restart. Is there any way to fix this because it isn't a once in a while thing I can deal with. It happens every time I quit safari without fail.

Please help me.
