I ran a similar test on my Haswell rMBP 13" (http://www.marco.org/rmbp-irtest.html) and after 10 min (which seems to be the standard time for running these tests), I was getting image retention on the left side of my screen which would las 1-2 minutes. After some reading on MacRumors Forums, it appears that all 13" rMBP's use LG screens which are prone to image retention and some people claim that it gets worse over time. The image retention I was getting on that test was another reason (on top of the trackpad/keyboard freezing issue) for me to return my rMBP last Thursday. Seeing how long Apple is taking to release a fix for the freezing issue, I am glad I returned it. If Apple were to release a software fix, I would've wanted a few days inside my 14-day return period to test it to make sure it did work. My return period would have expired this Thursday. I think the only way Apple will improve their quality control in the future is if they take a financial hit from lots of people returning their MBP's with these issues. Personally, I am going to wait a while before I pick up another rMBP, because I want to make sure all these issues are sorted out.

Since we have no real news about the freeze issue (all has been said at least 20 times. If you're new to this thread, you might want to see https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5509561) I would like to ask something different:
Anyone have tested his/her rMBP about display ghosting? Any experiences? I have set my desktop background to simple grey color. When closing the browser (for example) after 30 minutes (okay, maybe longer than that) I can still see the borders of the closed window for a while on the grey background.
As far as I understand, this should be normal. Is it?
I ran http://www.mitchmalone.name/retina-test/ and with the Apple defaults (3 minutes/black) I could hardly see any ghosting. With 5 minutes I could see it, but it was not really bad.
