You'll have to tell me what you consider acceptable, but I'm on my office network right now (802.11n) and Speedtest.net reports 20Mbps down/15Mbps up. Not too shabby. Unfortunately, I don't have any extremely fast file servers that I could test with, but my internet is acceptably fast.

I'm not saying you aren't having issues; I'm just saying it isn't universal.

I agree that they aren't universal, but in my case there is a signifcant drop in WiFi. I don't have numbers right now, but yesterday I got around 9Mbps down and 2Mbps up...
And I get double on down and triple on up of that on my MB Air.

Are we sure this is an rMBP and not a Mavericks issue? My iMac is having the same issue since updating to Mavericks. Only with the Apple Keyboard/Mouse btw. If I plugin a $5 usb mouse and keyboard it just keeps working.

I purchased the 8gb/256gb 13inch, I have had 3 freezes(same keyboard and mouse issue), the 4th one I noticed system was not frozen just unreponsize on the input of keyboard, . I was determined to fix it. I plugged my Iphone4s in, and my keyboard and mouse wourked again.

Never mind with the console stuff, it's all the same and doesn't tell us anything we don't know: more sleep issues (OS X's legacy...).

Anyone with a 15 inch seeing this problem?

Problem is "os maverics"!!! Now freezes older macbook pro (after upgrade to maverics) as well. This is no hardware issue (i hope). I have new mbp 13 (128gb and 4gb). I have freezing and slow wifi. probably come back to apple (14 day limit )

I had the same issue the same day I got my late 2013 macbook pro retinal 13.

I call tech support, and we did the following:

    - Reset SMC Hardware test

    - Run a Apple Hardare Test - PASSED
    - Verify and repair disk using Disk Utility - No Error

    - The tech suggested to a Clean OSX re-installation.

Since then, it has been running okay.   But having to wipe clean it, and re-install was not the ideal, but I since I put a lot of money for it, I was willling to go throug the process.

I'll keep you guys posted with the progress if I have any other issues.

Had my first freeze today after 2 days of use. While surfing Safari, keyboard trackpad and mouse didn´t response anymore. Had to restart the MacBook Pro.

Based on what is happening to both the 13-inch MacBook Pro retina and some iMacs, I would conclude that it is indeed a OS problem. However, the interesting part is that it seems to be a problem on - almost - every MacBook Pro retina. At least, I haven't seen a post yet with someone claiming to own a new 13-inch MacBook Pro retina and not having experienced a freeze. Of course, when your Mac works fine you probably won't be visiting this support forum.
