Hi..... can't see to upgrade my ipad 2 to 7.03....... downloads and then I receive an error message indicating that the upgrade failed.... anyone else have this problem?

I upgraded my iPad 2 without any problem at all. Did you try updating OTA or through iTunes? If one, then try the other.
If you are trying to update using iTunes, try disabling your firewall and antivirus software and then try again. If you are using WiFi for the update, try another WiFi network.
What you are experiencing is not unheard of with any iOS update. It does happen from time to time.
I have tired OTA with 2 different Wifi Networks........
I don't believe that I ever set this ipad up with Itunes....
I have the same problem with my ipad2. Have tried to update to 7.0.3 in three diffrent WiFi:s.
I have now managed to upgrade through iTunes. Thanks Alfred DeRose.

Me too. I don't have other wi-fi options here in Fiji. Update started without my knowledge and I'm told it can't be stopped. Says it will take about 14 hours to complete (slow connection speeds--but the only option on the island).
Each time I connect the iPad to wi-fi the update starts again at the beginning.
I contacted Apple Support and they tell me there's no way to stop the update _once it begins_. (Apparently there's no way to stop it from beginning, either.) Meanwhile all communications (email, web, etc.) are slowed to a crawl while the iPad tries to download the update. Most just hang after timing out.
I'm absolutely furious and about to turn the now-useless iPad into a very expensive anchor.
I'm wishing I didn't upgrade to iOS 7.03, I'm a musician using GarageBand 2 and it runs worse since the upgrade.
