I cannot delete a wrong Apple ID from my iPad

Hi,

I recently got a new Ipad mini, which came with 6.? OS. I set up my Ipad and restored from the last available update with 6 OS. Then I upgraded to IOS7 last version and then I tried to restore from my newest IOS 7 back up.

I had changed my apple ID because the e-mail address used for the origjnal one, belongs to my former employer and I have no access to it.

Now when I try to do anything the ICloud account will ask for a password using the old apple ID. It doesn't work because this Apple ID doesn't exist anymore and I need to turn off "Find my Ipad" before restoring, deleting or doing anything.

Furthermore, the Ipad is not showing up on "Find my Ipad" because it seems to be associated with the old e-mail address.

I have deleted all the content from the new Ipad but I simply cannot delete the ICloud account. The Itunes store is set up with the correct e-mail address but this doesn't seem to help.

Thanks in advance!

Sergio

You have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change (you don't need to verify the account). Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
