Mainstage 3 instruments into Garageband 11?

Ok, so I bought Mainstage 3 so that I could use the instruments and loops. The first time I downloaded it nothing showed up in my garageband folders, so I went online for help. I somehow managed to get the loops into garageband by dragging the loops from the Apple Loops folder into Garageband (I did a method called Rebuilding the Loops Index). Now I need help getting the instruments themselves into garageband. Please help.

GarageBand (Mac) '11, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

I want to know too , stupid suggestions:

Did you try to reboot your mac??

Did you check the instument library folder in library/application support/garageband in search for the new instrument?? If there is no new instrument then you didn't install them in garage band if they are their then try to clik and drag in the instrument tab of garage band

Tray to remove the instument filter i know there is a filter that doesn t show some instrument but i do not know where it is wait for the answer of another user or search in web i just read it yesterday but i can t remember sorry

I want to know if there are some instrument for garage band from mainstage 3 brcause i want to buy it for other software instrument :)

With the eception of those (Sampler) Instruments that come with the Jampacks, all the Instruments in Mainstage are built-in to that application. They cannot be used outside Mainstage.

Ok and how and where do I find these 'Jampacks' and where do I need to put them? I have been searching for these Jampacks but I CAN"T FIND THEM T_T

Hi

Within MS go to Mainstage 3:Download Additional Content

Select the various JamPack Instruments from within the "Legacy" area, download and you should be good to go

Yes! Thank you! How sneaky of MainStage to hide it. 😝 I'll hang tight for the download until tomorrow (I don't have 4-5 hours at the moment), but is there anything else I should know? For instance, I already downloaded the "orchestral" set that seems tied to the Jam Packs. Will downloading it again via the Jam Pack downloads override it, or will I have 2 versions of the same set? And besides restarting my computer, is there anything else I should know to have everything set up properly in GarageBand?
