incorrect apple id cannot be used to unlock this iphone

I am having the same problem with my ipad mi ni. I have had it for 4 years..my activation lock just appeared when I was I messaging my kids..I am so frustrated and called 2 apple stores near me...no help from either. . I know it's a holiday but seriously I am beyond angry. My Apple ID will not work my password will not work it sends me to another website to reset my password I did. It locks me out I am furious absolutely Beyond Furious that I cannot get any help for this

i got the same problem

so i login to my icould by website and found my device and remove if from the icould .

so now i cant login to my device it still gives me incorrect apple id and removed from my i cloud devices

dont remember if I have already posted my solution of the problem: I had form to input password for account with masked email as a*********@*******m but account was connected to another email which doesn't suit to this mask

You have to use the Original Apple ID and Password that was used to Activate the Phone.

if you do not have the Original Apple ID and Password that was used to Activate the Phone.

I have to ask: Are you sure it's your phone?

If you know the Apple ID that was originally used to activate the device, but have forgotten the password, go to My Apple ID and follow the Reset your Password link. You will be prompted to verify you are the account owner either by email confirmation or by answering the security questions.
