Need to Download movie from iTunes to iPod

I haven't used my iPod Touch in probably 2 years but it still works. Problem is I have forgotten how to get my movies! I have a couple I purchased and they show in my iTunes acct under Movies but how do I get one of them downloaded back into my iPod? I have one on my iPod already and I seem to remember I would switch one out for the other since I didn't have a lot of space left on my iPod. I have one on there now but want the other and can't get it! Any simple instructions? iTunes seems to look different as well. Can't get the older page to come up - maybe they redesigned it? Thanks in advance!

You sync them to your iPod from your iTunes library. Only the 4G and later can play HD videos

iTunes: Frequently asked questions about viewing and syncing videos

iTunes: May be unable to transfer videos to iPhone, iPad, or iPod

If iTunes purchases you may be able to redownload them directly to your iPod. Requires a 3G or later iPod

Thanks for answering. Yes, I plug in and sync ok. But then what? I clicked your link above but still didn't see an answer. After it syncs, how do I get the movie onto my ipod? It's been on there before so I know it plays, just need step-by-step on how to get it on the ipod.

Synching is how you get content, movies or anything else, from iTunes to your iPod. If you need basic instructions on how to sync, see:

Hmmmmm. Ok, did that so why doesn't it show up on my ipod? Under Videos there is only 1 movie and it's not the one I want. Am I not looking in the right place on my iPod? Thanks for all the help!

Yes they would go to the Vieo app on the iPod.

Do they play in iTunes on the computer?

What happens when yo try to sync?

Does any media sync to the iPod from this iTunes library?

Yes, it plays on the computer. When I sync, it goes through all the steps until it says sync complete. So sounds ok there. I haven't tried playing anything else - like I said I haven't used the ipod for a few years almost. I don't use it for music. The other movie I have in itunes is on my ipod but there are some videos I took with my camera that are in itunes, too, but they are not on my ipod either.

I supsect y do not have the right boxes checked for syncing. See:

iTunes 11 for Mac: Set up syncing for iPod, iPhone, or iPad

or

iTunes 11 for Windows: Set up syncing for iPod, iPhone, or iPad

Try using the manual method of syncing
