Numbers not auto calculating or auto completing

Numbers v3.0, Mavericks. Formula on one worksheet references formula on another, but does not update when source changes Fn+9 causes calculation to occur. Also, does not autocomplete: that is, it does not suggest the rest of the cell entry when I start to type. Bug or feature?

Dan,

Where did you get that business about the recalculation and F9? First I've heard of it. I can't duplicate the problem of off-sheet references not updating.

Excel has the option to manually calculate. That's done with F9. Ya just never know what will work.

It's not a Numbers thing. That I'm pretty sure of.
