how to get photos from dropbox to a folder under photos

It's a bit tedious so I hope you don't have many :-) Try this...

1. Open Drop box on your iPad and navigate to the folder where you stored your photos.
2. As you tap to display each photo, they will download to your iPad.
3. Once each the photo is downloaded, tap to display it and then tap the icon on the top right that looks like an arrow pointing into a box. Tap Save to Photo Library.
4. You may be asked to allow Dropbox to access your photos. Say yes.
5. Once you have done that for all photos, open the Photos app on your iPad. Tap Albums, then Camera Roll.
6. Tap Select on the top right then tap to select all the photos you downloaded.
7. Once they are selected, tap Add To on the top right.
8. Tap New Album and name it.
9. Tap Save and you're done.

All goes well until step 3. When I tap the downloaded photo in the camera roll. all I get in the top right is an edit option, no arrow pointing into a box. Am I doing something wrong? I am using an ipad3 (7.1.1). Thanks for any help.

You don't tap the photo in Camera Roll. You tap select, then the photo. Tap add to . Tap the album or make a new one.
