Q: no audio output/input on logic express 8

hi guys im using a focusrite saffire pro 14. and logic express 8. the problem im haveing is as follows, when chooseing an input device my saffire pops up, but i have no option for output device. im trying to synch it to my akai mpc 2000xl. midi is all set up correctley, and it tracks in time (you have to put a couple of empty bars at the begining of your mpc sqeunce so they can catch up with each other. but im gettting audio coming from my mpc. any help out there please ?
