Problem with Varispeed in Logic X???

Hello,

I am trying to use Varispeed for recording guitar on an audio track. No effects used. After recording a guitar part at approximately 20-30% of the original tempo I hear a 'wobbly' effect on the guitar part when returning to the original tempo. Any ideas what is wrong? I never had this problem in Logic 9...only X.
