sharing smb drives and printer with mac clients through mac server

i'm running IMac osx 10.6 server. actually the network has two servers mac and windows. and i would like to share smb drives from mac server to mac clients. i'm looking for scripts to share these drives because my workgroup manager is not working. and i have been asked to share them using mac scripts rather than sharing them by the workgroup manager.

another problem is the printers. they are configured on windows server and i want to share printers with mac clients. i have not installed the printers on mac server and i want to know what is the appropriate way to share printers with mac clients.

note: i have enabled the print service from server admin and smb service

just looking for scripts or any way to do the share without using the workgroup manager
