GarageBand won’t process any sound

GarageBand 10 won't process any sound from loops or from tracks in my admin profile. It will play loops and a basic drum track In another profile. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling three times to no avail. GarageBand 10 crashes in either profile. If anybody has any insight into this I would appreciate a heads up.

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9)
