After upgrading to OS X 10.9 Mavericks I have been having trouble with low audio levels on youtube, safari, and other audio apps. I checked all audio setting in safari, system preferences, and iTunes and they are all maxed. FaceTime audio is working just fine. Any advice would be helpful.

Youtube, QuickTime, all play with no sound at all.
i have 3 days without any sound at all (only the chan at the beginning) i start to hate maverick dont know what to do...maybe a update for the audio mr apple,its seem that some people have the same issue help me please
So annoying. Do you guys have older mac's aswell? Mine's a 2009 macbook pro, I'm just wondering why only some people are experiencing this issue.
