Hello,
I can't see my gmail imap account in Apple account pref panel; but, it still exisst in mail pref !! Can somebody explain the problem to me?
If I try to create the imap gmail account in Apple pref panel, I get a message telling that the account already exists.

Instead of setting it up as a Gmail account, try other in System Preferences.
