error 1004 in app store

Hello

I have seen a lot of discussions on this error but they all that i found did not help

time change' log out and log back again in app store, reset safari ..non helpt my problem

I updated my mac mini two maverick and then installed every purchase i have made in past. All went oke but the only app that i can not update is OSX Server

I keep getting the error 1004 please try later. The message is for 2 days now. In my purchase i can keep pressing on update but the error keeps popping up

I hope you can help me with this problem

Been busy and found the solution ;-) remove old app reinstall the new version 🙂😎

Hapy for 3 min ;-( now i get an error saying that the latest version also doesn't work with Maverick 😢

oke this is like really 2 sad. My purchase server app (purchase date 31-3-2013) wont work in maverick and i also have 2 buy the newer version AGAIN in order 2 have the server. No email or what so ever from apple that i will need 2 order a new server app. A bit said. Still love apple but 2 have me 2 pay twice for the same app in this short time kinda hurts. Source:

Dudes

Goto Launchpad and delete the OSX Mavericks app. It will then download from scratch.

Took me 2 hours to work the fix that didnt involve terminal.

I had the same problem, I have 2.2.1 and saw that the upgrade was 2.2.2 in the purchases. When I tried to update, it gave me the same error 1004. I clicked on the line 'Apple X Server 2.2.2' on the let side, it came back with a dialog box that stated:

Item Not Available

The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store.

Hope this helps. I stopped trying.

None of this worked for me. I've also tried deleting prefs as specified in another post. Even deleting the server app does not allow redownloading it. I've written our Apple engineer for a solution. This is really ridiculous that since Jan 2014 release of 2.2.3 it won't download and the number of people with the problem. Now another 'version' of 2.2.3 is released in Sept and still will not download.
