Hi and tnxs for reading.
After having updated to Mavericks, when opening Pages 09 I got a notification requesting me to update it to the latest version. Since I was in a rush for work, I selected NOT NOW.
Now I would like to do the update but don't know how to do since it is not appearing on Maverick Software Update; I even looked into Pages menu but nothing is referring to an update.
Any help please?

Is it in App Store listed under Purchases? That is where I found mine after doing the same thing.
Also, you might want to look at the posts listing dropped features. If these are things you need, it might be a good adea to think twice.

Issue was solved by changing language.
However, on the contrary wrt iPhoto and other updates, as regarding iWorks, my Mac still show the 09 version aswell... maybe because I bought not on Apple Store Online...
You WANT to upgrade (and I use the word in its loosest possible sense) to Pages 5.0? Dear gods and little fishes! Why?

Try it and see if you like it, but don't throw away the old versions. Also, before opening a 4.3 document, duplicate it and open the copy. Pages 5.0 will automatically delete things that are not in the new version, like images inside a cell.
There are some nice new features, but they also took out a lot. A lot!
I say, stick with the old version. Lots of features are different. I am a big fan of iwork, but the pages isn't the same as before. Instead of being productive, I end up relearning everything and it's not cool.
I agree with lescurieux. Apple's software developers apparently just talked to each other, not users when they came up with the "wonderful, beautiful, new, new Pages."
For goodness sakes, even Microsoft makes Word "backward compatible." A user may lose documents created in an earlier version of Pages. I'm staying with the '09 version. I'm a professional writer/editor and can't trust the new "improved" version. ****, I may go back to Word--this is after writing three novels in Pages.
Apple had better be listening to the users and not to those working in Cupertino.
