Color me dumb. iOS 7. Trying to put together a quick playlist. How do you search for a particular song by title without leaving the music app? When I push the song button, I get sort of an alphabet list sorted by artist. I have a lot of music, and I don't remember the artist on a lot of the titles.

And it's not only the search but also the sorting: whatever I select as the sort order, the music app ALWAYS sorts the songs by interpretor First. How can I change this, so that the music App will sort by the criterion I select (e.g. Title or Album) and NOT by Interpretor?
After creating the playlist, you should see a list of songs to add. At the bottom of the screen are also buttons for Artist, Albums, Composers, and Genres. Tap one of those to sort by each of those categories.
Forgot to mention, when at the top of any of the lists, pull down to show a search bar.
