Continuous scrolling not working in Calendar month view

Thanks. Basic concept worked for me. I've never had this problem, before Jun2017 with my '09 mini, and I've been flailing a while with all the online advice I've read. Magic Mouse scrolled fine in other iCal views and all other apps but refused in month view.

I put an instant sleep in the corner, and one sleep with wake by pushing the mouse and the scroll was back on as normal.

Same here, when I upgraded from ML on my iMac.

On a fresh install on my Mac Mini it works though.

Quit Calendar. Go to your Finder "Go" menu hold the option key to choose "Library" then go to Preferences/Containers/com.apple.CalendarAgent/Container.plist and move that file to your Desktop. Relaunch Calendar.

Set scroll bars back to Automatically, it has nothing to do with it.

What happens when you log into your Guest account. Does it work as expected there?

I made a new normal user account and tested - same thing (did not work to scroll)

My Mavericks won't scroll through months. Have to resort to the left & right arrows either side of today.

I've had a *lot* of problems with the mouse on Mavericks. Firefox occasionally stops scrolling -- other applications work fine, but Firefox stops. Have to quit & restart to get it working again. Also loads of problems with VMWare and mouse clicking.

What's common... Mavericks.

Same problem. I can't scroll the calendar on month view... but it used to work until this morning and I haven't change anything 😢

Scrolling works fine in every application except in Calendar app. I can't scroll in month or year view.

This is hugely anoying... That was one of the main reason I wanted to upgrade to Mavericks.

I'm wondering if I can re-install Mavericks.

This is odd, but the calendar scrolling in Month view is working on my machine. It's been through various reboots - and I checked the disc (SSD) and permissions.

Seems to me that the calendar application is sensitive to the scrolling.

Also, I've been suffering from Firefox vertical scrolling stopping. The "fix" is to quit & restart Firefox. However... this scroll-crashing behaviour goes away for a few days then comes back with a vengence. Again, I've a feeling that a full reboot seems to help things.

Yet another mouse-related problem I've been having is with VMWare. These frequently interpret a single-click as a double-cliick or even triple-click. Some chatter in the VMWare forums about this too.

All of this behaviour *never* ocurred prior to the Mavericks upgrade.

Same problem. It worked last week. Just opened the calendar this week and it does not work.

I'm also experiencing this issue. I even did a clean install of Mavericks and it did not help. Scrolling works fine for everything except the Calendar App and even then, scrolling works fine except for the Month and Year view.

Has anyone found a fix for this?

Same issue here. It started when I opened a downloaded .ics for a Virgina America booking. Opened it, added to my calendar. Now, continuous scrolling doesn't work at all in month view, even after I quit and reopen the app.

Yes I too discover today that trackpad scrolling is not working. It seems to me yet another example of Apple sloppiness. Mavericks is not good too many bugs and certainly not worth upgrading to.
