BankID not working with Mavericks?
I can not open my Internet Bank Account with BankID after upgrading to Mavericks. Is that a general problem?

First off, do not use online banking in any amounts your not willing to risk losing.
Your bank will likely not reimburse you for problems they can blame on your machine out of their control.
Any funds stolen might take the government weeks or never be found, or got transferred to a country with lax enforcement.
Mac's by no means are 100% secure, Mac's have bee compromised in huge botnets including Cupertino HQ itself.
Human error or maliciousness on your end could lose your life savings if not enough compartmentalization and increased security for larger amounts is used.
For instance the bulk of my funds has absolutely NO access to anything with public access, ATM, checking or online. This way it's all in the banks responsibility for losses.
I transfer physically and in person, a measured amount into the less secure accounts.

Apple's annual OS X upgrades wreck havoc on the rest of the world systems used to the more 5 and 10 year changes of Windows.
You will have to accept this sort of discomfort being a Mac user who upgrades to the latest OS X version when first released.
